I am hoping that it really does take off. I've been experimenting with boards for a while now and while there are a few disadvantages, the benefits outweigh them. None of my previous forums ever attracted a following. The membership count for the previous one was satisfying, though. There are almost 400.

You might need to adjust your monitor's brightness when viewing the site because the reds stand out so much, they're kind of painful to the eye at times. I'm glad you're liking the theme better than its previous iterations.

Don't know how much control you have over the color scheme, but you might try this color instead of the fire-engine red: #871212 . The downside is that it would darken up the site even more. Maybe a lighter background ...? Just thinking aloud.

I have control over the entire site layout, so I can change it if needed. I can say the current color is an alright choice that has the potential of being an eye sore after a while. I'll give that color you suggested a try. I can't promise I'd stick!
