AGENT VENOMBio: Ironically, Peter Parker's worst enemy and Spider-Man's greatest fan are the same person: Eugene "Flash" Thompson. I don't have him yet, but saving my CP to get him. From what I have heard about him, he's not all that good, but I think he could be an interesting character to play on missions. I know for a fact that he is not PvP material, but missions and flight deck will be only for him.

Finally, the first person to get it right. Everybody's replying to the shoutbox. It makes my head hurt. Anyway, you're not alone. I was hoping during his season that he'd be my first Adamantium reward. I was wrong. Didn't win him! Got kicked out two leagues down to Diamond.
I think it's pretty ironic that the heroes we get from PvP don't seem to be “PvP material.” It's always the cheaper 90 CP heroes that impress both in offensive and defensive matches.

Venom is weird. I have him but i just can't figure out how to use him :/ Must have been way better if the change was somehow controllable; like Cable. But since he is my first adamentium reward; i just can't complain

Playdom went with the true nature of the character – the Symbiote taking over involuntarily at any time. I wish there was a switch between two modes, however, that's not really how Venom works.

AV is both fun and maddening at the same time. Here's why: The good: -The morph animation is AWESOME. -There are some really useful moves. While in agent form, being able to debuff with "disadvantage" is really useful. An AoE attack giving "pressure points" is helpful, and his lvl 9 with splash damage is nice too. -While in Venom form, his shield-breaking lvl 1 is handy at times. Lvl 6 QA that gives a follow-up attack is great, and the LVL 9 AoE is great! -He's generally a nice pair-up with many different characters, especially because of his ability to neutralize adverse classes with disadvantage and to cause some nice set-up debuffs (wide open, pressure points, cornered, webbed, etc.) The bad: -Not particularly hard-hitting. You need lots of red ISOs to get decent damage. More supporter than primary attacker. -The randomness of his class/character changing is TERRIBLE. So often he will change classes twice before you have a chance to use his Venom/bruiser abilities. It's not uncommon for him to morph into Bruiser Venom after a scrapper's attack and right before a blaster's attack. Ugh. If there was some way to either control when the morph happens or to limit it to one change per round, just to make him a little more predictable/usable, that would be really helpful. Too much of a wild card as is.
Is he worth 135cp? Of course. CP is relatively easy to obtain and you should get every hero. Should he be a top priority? Only because of possibility he will be a required deploy in Ch. 5 or an upcoming spec op. Definitely not as low as Thing/Mr F/She Hulk, but not a top-tier hero either.

Thanks for the insight. Looking at his skills, he seems a decent character but the overall damage (as seen in the tooltip), it's just meh for me. If his Flash/Venom mode is more controllable, perhaps we can utilize his skills more effectively. They also need to lower the chance of him changing back to Agent Venom while Out of Control, because it can ruin strategies in a major way.

He is good but is too much unreliable. He sometimes goes out of control in the first round and then there is no debuff to exploit. His l6 for both the cases are good but the others are not so good because u cant exploit the debuffs whenever u want. And his KO prevent chance is very low,not like wolverine and deadpool. He is good for PVE but not for PVP because there are better debuffers like spiral and better exploiters like original warmachine or havok

He has low damage, and in his venom form has the potential to do more, but he`s highly unreliable. Again, Pilot material.

I suppose the best way to use him is by pairing him with an exploiter like Deadpool or Mockingbird, since it's really what he needs to do better. Yes, it's what he does when in Venom form but like you said, he's highly unreliable. Changing back to Flash Thompson before you could even perform the attack.

Nice looking new forum On topic: I've faced Venom a couple of times in PvP, first time I hammered him, second he kicked my team's ass There's definitely potential there, and he was hard as nails paired with Domino Originally posted Mar 17, 2014 at 12:28
