There's no use for his X-Force Archangel alt unless you're a collector, or are wanting to boost your Blaster PvP bonus. It looks as if they made it in 5 minutes, out of bitterness when Angel was awarded to most players for free. Heck, they didn't even use him in Spec Ops deploys!
The only ever use I found for Angel was when I was running the Arms combo to defeat group bosses. Paired with Rescue, they make for a great support combo while your Agent is building up enough charges to take the villain down.

Angel base uniform is better than his alt, his alt is just so meh for me. One of the best support hero there is, the other one being rescue. 8/10.

I have to agree. His X-Force alt is just disappointing as heck. It's been rushed.

Original costume is the best. He's a great support character. FYI if you pair him with Capt Marvel and use her first move, all of his moves become potential quick action. A-ISO makes him better at offense. His X-force Alt is sub-par. The debuffs are good but his moves have no synergy. His A-ISO makes him slightly better but Pestilence/Beast can do what he does and Generalize them. Only buy for collector or if you need PvP boost.

He is good, but his X-Force alt needs improvement. He can be really good if paired with Heimdall, sets up for Heimdall Hofun move

Great idea right there, @ agenthicks. I always forget Angel's attacks are tagged as buffs. As for his X-Force alt, I think they can take cues from the Four Horsemen. Debuffs like Reduced Potential, Exploits Poison and Generalized could be added to Famine, Pestilence and War respectively.

Alternate costumes do not have dialogues. You just get the screen that says you have unlocked them.

I have, however it's not recruitment dialogue you're referring to, but actual missions.
